Fariba Fatemi has been a loyal customer of Amen Bee honey; she is partial to the Honey Comb and Star Thistle honey. Fariba and here daughter have an amazing story and has committed themselves to helping generate donations by running marathons for research, diagnosis, and education for lung cancer. Fariba is thrilled to share that she and her daughter, Mana, will participate in the Sydney Marathon on August 31, 2025, to support the LungEvity Foundation. They are raising funds for essential research aimed at improving lung cancer detection and treatment—a cause that hits very close to home for them.
Fariba's brother, Faramaz, faced lung cancer after surviving three primary cancers. Tragically, shortly after his diagnosis, it metastasized to his brain. His journey has fueled Fariba and Mana’s commitment to advocate for better support and treatments for lung cancer patients.
This marathon marks Fariba's seventh World Major Marathon and her fourteenth overall, and they are running with purpose! Lung cancer is the most common cancer globally, yet many patients are diagnosed too late due to poor early detection methods. Their supporters can make a real difference.
